Number three, or I should say "Nailbiter Third," is now complete and ready for the January screening in L.A. The main point of focus for "Third" was animating and rendering the company logos and updating the score.
It always seems like I waste more time waiting on the rendering (or export/bounce) than the actual work put into the project. On average, the film takes around 4-5 hours to encode as blu-ray and almost 2 hours for the audio to bounce/encode as Dolby Digital (that's 6 tracks of audio exporting). Since both cannot run at the same time, that's almost a full day of encoding. Yesh!
